As the three day weekend has arrived, we want to first wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day weekend. We appreciate each resident and truly hope you can enjoy your hard earned time off.

There are a lot of you here for the weekend, or having guests over. The marina is open for all to enjoy. You can find cold beverages in the refrigerator, gorgeous flowers to enhance the views and of course the best neighbors on the lake to share it with.

We ask if you have any questions or concerns, please use the portal on the website. If you need assistance with your boat, taking covers off, navigational questions, etc please ask Jessica or Brittany.

There is a laminated navigational map at the marina, if you need a copy to take with you, ask them or send Patrina an email at pslack@liveatbeaconhill.com for a digital version.

BOATERS / KAYAKERS (or canoe): the Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens ARE ON THE LAKE IN FULL FORCE. We encourage you to just double and triple check your boaters requirements prior to leaving.

Water Safety Checks are going to happen all weekend, specifically as you cross the Seven Points bridge. If you would like to have a FREE Vessel Safety Check, the Cedar Creek Lake Coast Guard Auxillary would be happy to do that. The website with additional information is: https://wow.uscgaux.info

ALL KAYAKERS/CANOERS/ SUP, etc MUST wear a life jacket, this includes the pond at Lake Ava Rosetta. It is a state law and required. The life jackets can be found at the beach area with the community kayaks and stand up paddle boards. If you have any questions or need help, Christian will be available to assist, or Jessica and Brittany can as well.

Boat Requirements:

– Wrist, lanyard for key: this is a newer requirement, please make sure you have it.

-Inspected Fire Extinguisher (make sure it is current)

-Life Jacket for each person on board (reminder: Children MUST wear it at all times)

-Throwable Life Preserver

-Horn or Whistle (must be working)

-Current Registration Stickers

-Drivers License

Wishing everyone a safe and lake living weekend!
