The City of Kemp has now moved to Stage 3: Severe Water Shortage Conditions, effective immediately. The City states that enforcement will include nights and weekends, with violations potentially resulting in fines of up to $500 per violation, per day.
Please update your irrigation schedules accordingly:
• Even-numbered residential addresses: Wednesdays only
• Odd-numbered residential addresses: Thursdays only
• Commercial accounts: Tuesdays only
• Permitted watering hours: 6:00 AM–10:00 AM and 8:00 PM–12:00 midnight
• Landscape irrigation is limited to one designated day per week
The City states that watering during these periods may be done using hand-held hoses, hand-held buckets, drip irrigation, or permanently installed automatic sprinkler systems.
Please take a moment to adjust your sprinkler timers and help ensure Beacon Hill remains in compliance.
