A Friendly Reminder About Solicitation

Dear Residents,

We’ve recently received reports of door-to-door solicitation in the community, and we wanted to share a friendly reminder about access for visitors and service providers.

Access for Service Providers

When you invite a vendor or service provider to your property, please remind them that their access is for that visit or service. It does not include permission to go door to door promoting their business or leaving advertising materials at other homes.

A Reminder From Our Covenants

Section 4.6 requires prior written Board consent for solicitation and distribution of promotional materials on Common Property. Section 2.19 includes our private streets in Common Property.

Sharing Fundraising Opportunities

We know many families enjoy supporting school activities and other fundraisers. Please consider contacting the office about sharing those opportunities through a POA post instead of having children go door to door, particularly while construction and equipment activity continue throughout the community.

Respecting Residents’ Privacy

We also ask all visitors to respect residents’ privacy and avoid entering side yards or backyards without that homeowner’s permission.

If you experience unwanted solicitation, please let the office know so we can look into it.

Thank you for helping us keep Beacon Hill welcoming while respecting everyone’s privacy.
