💧 Water Quality Update
The City has detected an increased presence of manganese in the public water system. While not a health risk at the levels found, it can cause cosmetic issues such as:

Yellow discoloration of water

Staining of laundry, plumbing fixtures, or appliances

A metallic taste or odor
The City is actively working with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to address the issue and reduce manganese levels. If you notice discoloration or unusual taste, try letting your tap run for a few minutes before use.
