COMMUNITY UPDATES-
OPEN BURN THIS WEEK at the Spa Hill Burn Pile: We will be lighting the burn pile this afternoon 6/23/2025 or tomorrow 6/24/25 due to the growing number of accumulating trees and tree branches that were lost this spring. The Kemp Fire Department will be monitoring the wind conditions and will start the open burn when conditions permit. Unfortunately we have started noticing bags of trash winding up on the burn pile so whoever is responsible please discontinue this practice. We would rather not bring any additional pest control issues to the Community.
POOL FAMILY EXTENDED GATHERING RESTRICTION WAIVED- In the interest of encouraging more of our residents and future residents to take advantage of our Aquatic Center, we have added the ability to reserve the Pavillion for controlled gatherings with larger groups of family and friends on Non-Holiday weekends. We ask that anyone wishing to use the pool and pavillion in this manner simply check the event calendar on the POA Site and submit a request so we can approve and add it in. The pool will remain accessible to all of our residents during these larger gatherings and our Aquatic staff will be on hand to monitor and assist as needed.
BEACH REPLENISHMENT- The recent heavy rains have taken a toll once again on the beach area. We are adding some additional sand this week and will be using the commercial raking device to return the beach to full service status.
BOAT SAFETY- As many of you may have seen the news media releases on yesterdays tragic boating incident on Cedar Creek Lake in Tool, we anticipate increased equipment safety checks from Texas Parks and Wildlife Rangers on the open water for the next several weeks. It would be prudent to make sure your registration sticker is current and you have enough life jackets for each passenger while they step up enforcement or in the event your boat may be stopped by one of our Park Rangers.
Thank you for your continued support and more updates to follow.
