Residents, we’re pleased to share that the major dredging project at the Beacon Hill Marina is officially underway.
This is a substantial project, and a significant amount of material will be removed from the marina throughout the process. We have experienced, vetted contractors onsite completing the work under the direction of Charlie Graves and his General Contractor, Bobby Ruffin.
Most importantly, this project is being approached with longevity in mind. The goal is not simply to move dirt or provide a temporary improvement. Consideration is being given to how this work is completed so that we achieve the best long-term result possible for the Marina and the Beacon Hill community.
We are also fortunate to have established relationships with TRWD and are working directly with their team as this project moves forward.
Because a project of this size is dependent on weather and site conditions, we do not have a firm completion date at this time. We’ll continue to keep residents informed as the work progresses.
