Good morning Residents,
The first delivery of equipment and materials for the dredging project entered through the back gate (9/3), which is the designated entrance for contractors, deliveries, and large equipment. During that delivery, a portion of the landscaping near the keypad was damaged. We are fully aware of the damage, and it was immediately documented and communicated to the contractor.
Our landscaping and maintenance teams, contractors, and the Beacon Hill Office are working in direct communication throughout this and other projects. This is a coordinated effort, although projects of this size may occasionally result in temporary imperfections that will need to be evaluated and addressed at the appropriate time.
Additional large equipment and materials will be entering through the back gate as the dredging project progresses, so similar temporary impacts are possible. We are evaluating the appropriate timing for restoring the landscaped area so that work is not completed only to be damaged again by incoming equipment.
Residents who enjoy walking through the community, particularly during the morning and evening hours, are encouraged to use extra caution around the boat launch area, where heavy vehicle traffic has disturbed some of the gravel.
We are excited to see this significant, ownership-approved project underway. As shared previously, the dredging work is being approached with long-term performance and longevity in mind. We will continue monitoring the affected areas and communicating relevant updates as the work progresses.
